Spooky Eyeball Soaps

A fun and creepy activity for your Halloween get-together!

Materials:

• 1 bar of Neutrogena transparent glycerin soap. (If you are unable to find Neutrogena brand soap, make sure that the soap you do use is pure glycerin).
• Small aluminum cupcake molds
• Plastic eyeballs, spiders, or other scary Halloween trinkets
• Microwavable cup
• Metal spoon
• Knife

Instructions:

Step 1 - Cut your bar of soap in half, and place one piece into a microwaveable cup. Microwave on high for about 10-15 seconds. The oap should melt clear and have the consistency of cooking oil. If it bubbles up or burns, it’s a sign that you’re not working with pure glycerin soap.

Step 2 - Remove the cup from the microwave. If the soap is not all liquefied, put it back into the microwave for another five seconds or simply stir the liquid with a spoon until no solid pieces remain.

Step 3 - Place your eyeball or other Halloween trinket face down on the bottom of your aluminum cupcake mold. Fill the cupcake mold with liquefied soap.

Step 4 - Repeat Step 2 with the other half of the soap bar. (One bar of Neutrogena should allow you to make two or three creepy soaps).

Step 5- Place the molds in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Remove them from the refrigerator and peel the sides of the cupcake mold away from soap. Now those are scary suds!
