Swank played a female boxer in the movie “Million
Dollar Baby”. After five months of intense daily training
and sparring to get ready for the film, as well as during
filming itself, she ended up with a shiner… but not
from boxing. Apparently, she was playing tug of war at home
and got hurt.
“I
did a whole boxing movie, “she said, “And my
20-pound dog gave me a black eye!”
