| Pick
a bouquet of scrumptious daisies and serve them up at your
next sleepover. You can also use alternate cookie cutter shapes,
such as hearts or stars.
To
make a bouquet of daisies you will need:
- 3/4 cup
of butter or margarine
- 6 cups
of crispy rice cereal
- 40
large marshmallows
- Food
coloring (optional)
- Candy
sprinkles
- Round
candies or jujubes
- Flower-shaped
cookie cutter
- Cookie
sheet measuring 13” X 9” X 2”
- Wax
paper
- Put marshmallows
and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl.
- Microwave on
High for 1 minute. Stir and microwave for 1 more minute.
- Add food coloring
to mixture (optional).
- Add 6 cups of
crispy rice cereal and mix well.
- Spread mixture
on a butter-coated cookie sheet. Flatten mixture with a
large piece of wax paper. This will prevent it from sticking
to your hands.
- Place in refrigerator
for 20 minutes.
- Cut flower shapes
with cookie cutter. Place round candy or jujube in center
of each flower and decorate with candy sprinkles.
- Wrap daisies
in wax paper, cover and store in a cool place.
