April 1, 2008 (Happy April Fool's Day!)
Hey! What's up? Want to know what's happening with me? Check it out!
St. Patrick's Day has come and gone. That means I just had my birthday, too. This year I turned 11. Want to know what I really wanted? A horse, of course! That's all I've ever really wanted since I was two-years-old. It would be the ultimate birthday gift.
Want to know what I've always wanted to do? I've always wanted to go up in a helicopter. It would be so great, not like an airplane where it's all stuffy inside and there are a bunch of people snoring. I'd rather be 7,000 feet up in the air, just hovering there. But I wouldn't be afraid.
I'm going to enter a contest to win a helicopter ride. It's a writing contest. I hope I win. You never know until you try. That's what Krumbs says, anyhow.
Have you entered Imagination Cafe's
Creative Contests yet? If not, you should do it!!
.That's all 4 now. C U L8R!

Hi! Cookie here. So, what's up with me?
Check it out!
Did I ever tell you that I'm a good artist?
Well, I am, if I do say so myself. But the most exciting thing happened yesterday. I won my school's annual art contest! My drawing, which was of Krumbs and me holding cookies, is going to be on the cover of the yearbook! I am so excited!
There's a stray cat that keeps sleeping in our cafe. All day it keeps hanging around the kitchen. It's a nice, black, friendly cat, but Krumbs does not like cats at all. I know he would be mad if I kept the cat.
I've been bringing it to the shelter to try to find a home for it, but so far, no takers. I'm really hoping that someone adopts the cat soon.
That's all for now. Talk to you later!

Hey! It's me, Cookie. Want to know what's going on with me? Check it out!
It's a new year! New years are great because they're like a totally fresh start. Also, I got to stay up 'til 12:00 midnight when we were counting down to 2008. Yeah!
I stopped over at the horse barn with my new digital camera. (Did I tell you I got it??) I took some amazing pictures of the horses. Even Krumbs told me that my pictures were good.
Guess what? My plan for giving out pictures of the animals at the shelter has been working! More and more animals are being adopted and going to good homes. You might think that the shelter would have no more animals if this keeps happening, but that isn't true. More animals are brought in every day. But, I'm getting confident that every one of them will find a good home.
Happy New Year!

Cookie

Hi! It's me, Cookie. Want to know what's up with me? Check it out!
First of all, something really exciting happened to me. I got the job as a volunteer at the animal shelter! Now, I know that means a lot of hard work without getting paid, but I don't care. Cooking and animals are my two favorite things, and I'm glad that I have the chance to be involed with both of them.
Number one on my holiday wish list was a digital camera. Like I've told you before, I loooove horses. Well, i got my wish! Think what a beautiful photograph I could snap while watching the horses run. Also, I can take pictures of the animals at the shelter. Then, I can show them to people who are looking for pets. Maybe I'll even post some pictures on my blog! That way, they have a better chance of finding a home.
Hope your holidays rocked!

What's up? It's me, Cookie. Want to know what's happening here? Check it out!
Remember that horse, Midnight, that I was talking about? Well, someone else bought her. That's okay though, because I did earn a lot of money selling dog treats. I think I'll donate the money to the animal shelter instead.
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I love to read. Other than the cafe, the library is the place where I hang out most often. Anyway, I checked out some great books recently. They're called, "Princess Academy," and "The Ocean Within." You should seriously consider reading them.
Well, that's all for now. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Hey,
everybody! I’m Cookie, and I want to tell you what’s
up with me.
The
other day, Krumbs and I were baking chocolate chip cookies. I
made Krumbs a bone-shaped cookie with no chocolate. (Heads up:
dogs can’t have chocolate). That Krumbs! He swallowed the
cookie whole!
So here's the other thing that's happening. I
love to ride horses. When I went over to a ranch to ride some the other day,
I saw the most beautiful horse. Her name was Midnight. And guess
what? She was for sale! I wanted to buy Midnight sooo badly. But
I didn’t have the money. What could I do?
Then
I came up with an idea. I could sell homemade dog treats. Krumbs
really likes my treats, and I’m sure that other dogs would
like them too.
Midnight,
here I come!
