| Actor Ashton
Kutcher
You're
probably familiar with some of the hilarious movies Ashton
Kutcher has starred in (Dude Where's My Car, 2000,
Just Married, 2003, The Butterfly Effect,
2004, & Guess Who, 2005). But did you know that
Ashton's first name is really Christopher? Or that he has
a fraternal twin brother named Michael who almost died at
birth due to a heart problem? Or that his first real job
was sweeping floors at a General Mills plant? Or the fact
that he was once so poor that he even donated blood for money?
It's true, Ashton
had it rough growing up and barely even made it through high
school. But later, he turned himself around when he entered
college at 19. He majored in biochemical engineering and became
a member of the Delta Chi fraternity at the University of
Iowa. But to his mother's disappointment, he later dropped
out to pursue a career in modeling.
In 1997 he won The
Fresh Faces Modeling Contest in Iowa. A short time after
his modeling career started to take off, he started auditioning
for TV, and that's how he landed the spot and claim to fame
on the well known TV hit series "That 70's Show" (1998).
So never underestimate
where that first job can lead you to. Just remember Ashton—he
literally swept the TV producers off their feet!
Kutcher's
